I've been thinking a lot lately about how to make meal times enjoyable - not just the act of eating out, but also the planning and cooking process as well. For me, it's all about the experience, and creating little rituals around food that make it fun and special.
For instance, I love to listen to audiobooks while I cook. Something about being immersed in a story makes the whole meal prep feel like a relaxing part of my day instead of a chore. Then, when it comes to sitting down to eat, I often light some candles or put on some jazz music to make the experience feel a little bit luxurious.
What kind of things do you all do to make your eating experiences more enjoyable? Do you have any rituals or special habits that make meal times fun and memorable?
