What if... and hear me out here... what if potatoes were the real monarchs of the vegetable realm, and carrot was just a fraud? Think about it - carrots are often the dull, orange sidekick in many dishes, whereas potatoes shine in multiple forms and flavours. Mashed, roasted, chipped or baked, potatoes are versatile and delicious. Meanwhile, carrots, at best, get juiced or chopped up into crudites. Potatoes are also extremely versatile, starring in dishes from Europe to South America, while carrots...well, they're often relegated to the background.
