My little one just hit two big milestones recently - sitting up unaided and his first tooth! He's so close to crawling too, which I'm sure will happen within the next month. It's so fun (and a bit bittersweet) watching him grow and change so quickly!

My daughter just started solid foods this week, and it's been such a funny experience! She's taken to it much quicker than I expected, and watching her figure out new flavors and textures has been a real joy. She's also becoming quite the little chatterbox, cooing and "talking" back when we speak to her.

I'm looking forward to her first steps and words - she's not quite there yet, but I can tell she's going to be an early walker, and I can't wait to hear her little voice properly say mama one day soon!

Some milestone memories I cherish are creating a baby book with personal touches, filling out all the details of their birth and milestones along the way - it's such a sweet keepsake! Also taking monthly photos, dressing them up in themed outfits and capturing their growth that way is a fun idea. For each birthday, I like to bake a special cake, let them smash it and have a mess-tastic time enjoying that moment! Themed shoots are such a great idea and so much fun! We went with the beach theme for our little one's 6-month photo, with cute ocean animal props and a lovely blue-themed outfit - the photos turned out adorable!

For our next one, we're thinking of doing an outdoor garden/flower theme, with lots of gorgeous pastel colors - thinking about all the pretty spring blooms!
