I'm interested in hearing from others who are mixed feeding their baby - whether this means exclusively bottle feeding for some times, but then breastfeeding for others (e.g. when dad is around). I just started mixed feeding after being convinced that bf wasn't working and my milk supply dropped off rapidly after birth at 2 weeks old, though actually it seems to have stabilised since introducing bottles. However, in the 4 days since doing this, I've actually had a few episodes of nipple thrush (which hasn't happened before) so I'm worried now about potential problems mixing feeding causes (especially seeing as bf would naturally occur far more regularly if i weren't bottle feeding). Are others experiencing anything similar, or do people generally find it works well?
