What kinds of after-school activities do you think are beneficial for students?
Are there any that you would recommend to others? What makes them advantageous? Alternatively, are there any that you believe should be avoided and why?
I'll go first! In my opinion, sports clubs are a great way to stay active and develop teamwork skills in a fun environment. They also teach discipline and commitment, especially if students take their activity seriously and want to improve. I would definitely recommend them.
Also, any kind of club that encourages creativity is fantastic. Art, music, dance, and theatre groups encourage self-expression, confidence, and imagination - all while helping students develop specialized skills in a particular area!
I'd love to hear about other people's experiences too and what after-school activities have been beneficial for your children or even you!
