Creating balance is an ongoing process; it's all about prioritizing and consciously making time for different commitments and passions.

Here are some strategies that help me:

- Maintaining a planner/calendar, and setting reminders helps to visualize and organize my responsibilities and commitments related to work, family, and personal goals. I schedule time for various tasks and stick to it. This ensures nothing slips through the cracks and keeps me on track.

- Setting realistic, measurable goals is another strategy I employ. Breaking tasks into manageable chunks becomes more motivating and less daunting than one large, ambiguous goal. It's satisfying to visually see progress and keep momentum going.

- Making time for self-care and putting health first is crucial to my overall harmony. Daily exercise, healthy eating, and adequate sleep are non-negotiables for me; they help me stay energized and focused. Taking this time also prevents burnout and maintains a positive mindset, which is essential for managing stress.

- I find compartmentalization helpful - focusing on one task at a time. While multitasking seems efficient, giving full attention to the present task helps me do my best work. This often means blocking out designated time periods for different commitments and being fully present during that time.

- Finally, learning to say no is essential for maintaining balance. While it may disappoint others, overcommitting can lead to stress. Setting boundaries on new commitments when our plates are full is necessary.
